Simple ways to keep a painting or print looking its best.
Where to hang
Avoid direct sunlight, damp walls and spots above radiators, heaters or kitchen hobs. Stable room temperature and humidity are kindest to paint and paper.
Cleaning
Dust gently with a soft, dry brush or cloth. Never use water, sprays or cleaning products on the surface of a painting.
Prints on paper
Frame prints behind glass or acrylic with acid-free mounts, and handle unframed prints by the edges with clean, dry hands.
